Adult Groups

United Methodist Women (UMW)

United Methodist women meet in small groups called Circles. There are four circles which you can attend: Hope Circle, Joy Circle, Sarah Circle and Faith Circle.

H.O.P.E. Circle: 1:30 PM monthly, on the 3rd Monday

H.O.P.E. stands for Helping Other People Everywhere. Programs are determined by the interests of the members.  The programs vary from hands-on projects for the church or community, to missions projects, speakers, or UMW studies.

J.O.Y. Circle: 6:45 PM - 9:00 PM monthly, on the 2nd Monday

J.O.Y. stands for Jesus 1st, Others In Between, Yourself Last. This Circle is an evening meeting.  Besides fellowship, JOY offers a variety of programs organized by the monthly hostess that may include crafts, social activities, guest speakers, etc.

Sarah Circle: 1:30 PM monthly, on the 3rd Wednesday

Sarah Circle is one of the original Circles of our Church, consisting of some of our older members.  They meet on the 3rd Wednesday of month at 1:30 PM.  This Circle offers varied programs that include topics of interest to the group, craft projects, outreach to the community, and various church projects and activities.

F.A.I.T.H. Circle: 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM monthly, on the 3rd Wednesday

F.A.I.T.H. stands for Forsaking All I Trust Him. FAITH has a study program each month selected by the hostess, using resources such as the UMW Response or World Outlook magazines, Christian books, the Upper Room, etc.  The programs are dedicated to inspire and encourage individual spiritual growth.

Emmaus Group:

An  Emmaus Group is a week-end journey with Christ for spiritual growth. A continuation of the walk meets weekly at the church.

Loving Hands:

Loving Hands meets from 5-7 p.m. on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month.  This group makes handmade items threaded with prayers of love and hope.  May they bring blessings of comfort, gifts of warmth and God's love.  Bring your knitting, crocheting or other type of handwork.

Men's Ministry:

Weekly Lunch: 1:00 PM weekly, on Thursdays at a different restaurant each week

Come join us for food and fellowship. Contact Mike Peters at to get on the weekly email so you know where to meet.

Monthly Evening Program:  7:00 PM monthly, on either the second or third Thursday evening of the month

We meet for snacks and interesting presentations, for example: we may enjoy a presentation of on stress relief via biofeedback or a program on the civil war by a National Park Ranger.  Women are always welcome. See the church calendar on this website or call the church office at 235-2331 for the exact dates.
